InFocus is silent for quite a while now, but breaking it’s silence – Yesterday, in a press event in New Delhi, India inFocus announced their new budget smart phone called Turbo 5. The main hightlight of the phone is its massive 5000mAh battery which is said to deliver up to 23 hours of talk time and a standby time of 816 hours.

Going ahead, we will continue to expand our product portfolio and introduce innovative and disruptive 4G smartphones for the Indian consumers. For this FY InFocus plans to introduce 16 new products, aiming to reach 6 Million volume by the end of the year.

InFocus Turbo 5 sports a 5.2-inch 720p display with 2.5D curved glass on the front. Powering the device is Quad-Core MediaTek MT6737 SoC clocked at 1.3Ghz Max and Mali T720 MP1 GPU coupled with 2 or 3GB of RAM. It offers On-Board storage of 16GB or 32GB and the storage can further be expanded upto 32GB via a MicroSD Card slot.

InFocus Turbo 5 has all metal build with a fingerprint reader on the back which claims to unlock the device in 0.5 Seconds and handy fingerprint gestures for selfie, flashlight are also said to come out of the box. Android Nougat 7.0 also comes pre-installed. There is a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The device comes with reverse charging feature, it means you can use InFocus Turbo 5 as a power-bank and charge other devices too.

As far as availability is concerned InFocus Turbo 5 is expected to hit the Nepali market around the mid of Ashad with the price of Rs. 17,000. It comes in two color variants – Pure Gold and Mocha Gold.
