Pokémon Go will have a special Valentine’s Day experience for you to Pika-choose your valentine. The popular mobile game has a special Valentine’s Day-themed event for the special trainer in your life. The event, which has some unique perks, started February 8 and will finish on February 15.
Some of the perks have to do with the colour pink, as Pokémon that have a pink appearance, like Chansey and Porygon, will spawn more often. Also, pink baby Pokémon, like Cleffa or Smoochum, will hatch from eggs picked up during the event.
Trainers can also rake in twice the normal amount of candy for walking their buddy Pokemon or completing certain game actions. Lure modules are perhaps the biggest perk of Valentine’s event, as they will help attract Pokémon for six hours. That’s 12 times as long as regular thirty minutes. Pokémon Go also had special theme events for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
