Nepal Telecom to expand 4G throughout Country within 8 Months

A couple of weeks back NT (Nepal Telecom) had launched 4G/LTE in Nepal. On the first phase, 4G is only accessible from two cities namely Pokhara and Kathmandu, Ans Lots of people are unhappy because other cities didn’t get to experience 4G. If you are among those unhappy users then we have a piece of good news for you – Nepal Telecom is planning to expand the 4G/LTE Countrywide within 8 Months.

The Development Committee of Legislature-Parliament directed NT to expand the 4G coverage Nationwide until next September. If the work is carried out as per the direction we will be able to surf 4G from different part of the country. Now there shouldn’t be any delays because 4G is launched after getting approval a year ago and we can’t wait to experience  4G in our own country.

The Subscribers of newly launched 4G service is rapidly increasing and said to have crossed 41,000 with in the first 20 days of launch. Managing Director of NT said – NT is planning to expand the 4G coverage nationwide and the process about the tender the for the expansion of 4G services in 15 sub-metropolitan cities have been forwarded.

The board presumes that NT is concentrating just on the numerical increment in the Customers. The board of trustees called attention to different issues of NT telephone services including the absence of accessibility, clarity, low-speed web and trouble in recharge. In these issues, Board coordinated NT and NTA to take care of these issues, address the problems of clients in time and compensate if required inside the following one month.

4G for Pre-Paid users

Nepal Telecom said that they will introduce 4G services for Pre-Paid service subscribers on the occasion of its anniversary from February 4. NT is also preparing to restart the caller ring back tone (CRBT) on the occasion of its anniversary.
