The Chinese Smartphone Brand “COOLPAD” is Officially Launching in Nepal on 13th of February 2017. This is the same brand which is China’s No 1 Smartphone Manufacturers.
Coolpad was ranked as the 6th largest global smartphone OEM during the 2nd quarter of 2013, beating out stiff competition like LG and Nokia and also being listed in China’s Fortune 500 for the first time ever. It has over 6000 patents in the field of innovative technology, this is the same brand that launched the “Dual SIM Dual Standby” technology, Coolpad has also been awarded the top science and technology award in China.
Now, this brand “Coolpad” is entering in Nepali Market to try their Luck. Nepali Smartphone market is already crowded with different smartphone brands mainly from China. People here have a lot of variety to choose from, but the pain starts when we need to choose one that provides robust overall performance. It will be competing with its revival home-based company like Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Gionee etc.

In the first phase, the company is said to launch two phones for now namely Coolpad Note 5 and Coolpad Mega 2.5D. This will definitely toughen competition on the market and the pricing clash among the company will definitely benefit the customers. The pricing of the phone is still not disclosed but we expect it to be around international pricing.
