Apple to Rework the Mac Pro

Apple is eyeing a refresh on its high-end desktop computer. Company executives admitted to a handful of reporters that its 2013 Mac Pro redesign was a mistake. The tech giant is now hitting the reset button and completely rethinking the entire machine. Tech Crunch reporting that Apple signaled it will try to better support its professional users going forward.

Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing said the current Mac Pro was constrained thermally and limited the company’s ability to upgrade it. But the excess announced there’s officially a new Mac Pro model in the pipeline.

Apple is working on a new Mac Pro system with a separate pro display. It may be a while before it arrives though, so don’t expect it to come out anything this year.
