Huawei has launched their latest phone – Huawei Nova 3 and 3i today on a launch event organized at Yak & Yeti, Durbar Marg, Kathmandu. It was held on the presence of known personalities of Nepal from different backgrounds.
These devices pack 4 cameras, two on the front and two on the rear and above all, these all cameras are derived by Artificial Intelligent which helps to identify the scene and adjust the settings accordingly for better-looking pictures.
Huawei NOVA 3
Huawei Nova 3 is the most expensive of the two. Nova 3 packs a 6.3- inch Full HD+ IPS Display with a pixel size of 2340 x 1080. Powering the device is Huawei’s in house manufactured HiSilicon Kirin 970 Processor which is an Octa-core SoC. Graphics are handled by ARM Mali-G72 MP12 GPU clocked at 767MHz which includes 12-Cores. 6GB RAM comes bundled with the device and you got to choose 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage which further can be expanded up to 256GB via a HYbrid SIM slot.
In terms of optics, the back of the phone has a 16 MP f/1.8 RGB primary sensor and a secondary 24 MP monochrome sensor. Moving on to the front, Huawei has managed to fit the Nova 3 with two cameras despite the size limitation of the notch. Here we get a primary 24 MP sensor and a secondary 2 MP sensor for better bokeh.
NOVA 3 is packed with 3750 mAh battery with fast charge enabled. Android Oreo 8.1 comes out of the box with Emotion UI on the top.

Huawei NOVA 3i
This is the pocket-friendly phone of the two. It is the smaller or a lite version of Nova 3. This device packs 6.3 inches FHD+ IPS Display (2340 x 1080 Pixels) and 19:9 Aspect Ratio which is the same as Nova 3. But the major difference is on the internals, it packs Huawei’s own Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 710 Octa-core SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage which can be expanded by a Hybrid SIM slot.
The rear-facing camera combines a 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. The former captures vivid images and videos, while the latter records depth data to create a professional bokeh effect, resulting in more natural-looking images. The front-facing camera is a 24Mp and 2Mp duo setup same as Nova 3.
NOVA 3i is packed with a 3340 mAh battery with a fast charge enabled. Android Oreo 8.1 comes out of the box with Emotion UI on the top.
