If you have imported any Mobile phone from abroad you should consider registering your IMEI No. to avoid getting blocked. According to the Nepal Telecommunication Authority, all the customers must register their phone’s IMEI No. who has bought their phone from abroad. They hasn’t set any deadline for this process but its cleaver if done right away.

The IMEI registration process is indeed a very simple process. You just need to fill the application form and email it to eir@nta.gov.np alongside the scanned copy of the Citizenship Certificate, Passport, or the driving license. The process is free of cost, means you will not be charged a penny for this.
