Twitter Anti-Abuse Measures.

The first is an attempt to prevent users who’ve been blocked from repeatedly creating new accounts in order to harass the user who blocked them. Through this change, Twitter also aims to prevent banned users from regaining access to the social media platform. However, the company did not specify exactly how it would accomplish this.

A new safe search filter that removes sensitive material like nudity or violence, is also being rolled out. Finally replies to tweets will be filtered so that comments determined to be low quality of potentially abusive will not appear unless users want them to. The changes announced to follow widespread criticism in recent years that the platform has not done enough to combat abuse.
