WhatsApp to share your phone no. to Facebook.

WhatsApp, One of the most popular messaging app yesterday updated its Privacy Policy which included it would start sharing some user data – including phone no.- with their parent company Facebook. The two companies said the new policy will help the user find friends and  “improve your Facebook ads and product experiences.”

On the other part, WhatsApp promised to not sell and share the no. with advertisers But don’t worry we have two ways to stop your no. from sharing and it should be done right away.

Your can choose to not share the no if you act soon.

WhatsApp will ask you to agree on the new Policy, but rather than clicking agrees “blindly” press the smaller “read more” option below, and uncheck the box that reads “Share my WhatsApp account information with Facebook…”  Even if you have already accepted those new terms, however – you’ve still got 30 days to opt-out. Head to the app’s settings menu, and then press the account tab. From there, you can uncheck the box reading “Share my account info” to stop providing Facebook with your user data. That’s it you are done with it.
