Xiaomi RedMi 4 Prime was launched in China on 4 Nov 2016, alongside the RedMi 4 Prime, the company also launched the RedMi 4 and RedMi 4A. But here in Nepal, RedMi 4A has launched in Nepal some times ago and now the RedMi 4 Prime has launched with the price tag of Rs. 23,499.
The RedMi 4 Prime carries identical body language as RedMi Note 4 namely Metal uni-body design, 2.5D curved glass display, Hybrid dual SIM-Slot and a fingerprint sensor embedded on the rear. The phone has a 5-inch FullHD touchscreen display. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor which is an Octa-Core SoC clocked at 2GHz. It has 2GB of RAM and packs 32GB of storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via a MicroSD Card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 4100mAh non-removable battery.
