Sony is currently working under its one of the most popular Smartphone series, Xperia. It is rumored to have an Ultrawide display. This also means Sony will be the next major brand featuring tall and narrow design, after LG and Samsung. At this moment the whole detail of this device features and specifications are not known. As per the leaked reports from MobileXpose, the device will have an ultra-wide 6.45-inch display with the screen aspects ratio of 21:9. It will compete with Samsung Galaxy S8 with a screen aspect ratio of 18.5:9 and LG G6 with 18:9 aspect ratios. According to this report, this phone will be slightly bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S8 plus. Through the actual size of this phone is not mentioned, smaller footprints will definitely allow large screen in a small body.
With the leaked image it can be confirmed about the phone having pretty slim bezels. The renders show that Xperia X Ultra will be launched with red and gray color variant but Sony is likely to release more color variants as it usually does with its phones.
As per the leaked reports, the phone may be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 coupled with 4GB of RAM. Running with Android Nougat V7.0, the onboard storage is 64 GB. The battery size of the phone doesn’t look that attractive as it is only 3050 mAH with quick charge 3.0. The phone is also expected to have an IP68 rating that would make the phone dust and water-resistant.
Sony smartphones are always popular for their best camera quality and camera lenses. You can definitely expect the same from this device of Sony, with 13 MP front-facing camera and 19 MP rear camera. The camera specification looks familiar with Sony’s previous Flagship Xperia XZ Premium. It has a “memory stacked image sensor” which is capable of recording in HD at a rate of 960 FPS(Frames per second ) which means you can create videos and play them back in super-slow motion. The phone is also rumored to have dual speaker set.
