It has launched its new flagship smartphone Cool Play 6, the smartphone comes in Gold and Black color options. The all-new Coolpad boasts of 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based custom Journey UI and is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor with Adreno 510 GPU. It is backed by 6GB of RAM and packs 64GB inbuilt storage. The storage can be expanded via microSD cards. The dual-SIM phone features two 13-megapixel sensors at the back, with f/2.0 aperture, dual-LED flash, and HDR support. On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture. For connectivity, Cool Play 6 offers 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, USB Type-C, and Wi-Fi.

The device runs on JUI(Journey UI) which is Coolpad’s homegrown UI, on top of Android 7.1.1 Nougat with a promised upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo in the future.
