Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTS-i Overview

You might already know that Bajaj bikes in Nepal have 16 variants till date.However, Bajaj’s most popular performance-driven motorcycle in Nepal is the Pulsar 150 DTS-i. Since its initial launch, it has been one of the highest-selling models in its segment. In Nepal Bajaj Pulsar 150 is available in two variants, i.e. Single Disc and Twin Disc. The starting price of Pulsar 150 Single Disc in Nepal is Rs 257,900 while the top-end twin-disc variant is priced at Rs 268,900.

Performance

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 is powered by a DTSi 149.50 cc, single-cylinder engine that puts out 14 bhp at 8500 RPM and a maximum torque of 13.4 NM at 6,000 RPM. In this bike DTS-i is fitted with a 5-speed transmission that provides quick gear changes in both directions along with a gentle clutch pull. Along with the DTS-i engine, the gearbox offers race-leading output and fuel efficiency. Moreover, Bajaj 150 mileage is an impressive average of 65 KMPL. Twin sparks offer a complete ignition that increases the mileage.

Styling

The motorcycle’s popular highlights are the sporty styling and dependable engine. With the iconic wolf-eyed twin pilot headlamps, the motorcycle is aggressively crafted. The naked Streetfighter looks and the 3D Pulsar logo on the tank adds a luxury touch to the motorcycle. Pulsar 150 is one of the heaviest 144 kg motorcycles of its segment.

Safety

Pulsar 150 DTS-i have a 240 mm disk brake on the front and a 130 mm drum brake on the back. The suspension system features telescopic forks on the front and 5-way adjustable Nitrox shock absorbers on the rear. The Pulsar 150 is fitted with a 15-liter fuel tank, which offers it a decent range of long drives.

Comfort

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 single-disc seat is an almost flat single-piece design and is comfortable enough for long and heavy riding while the Pulsar 150 twin disc also features a split seat design. The handling is extremely good around the edges and encourages confidence for easy-to-reach aggressive riding and so are the various control switches on the handlebar.

Competitors

In its segment, The Pulsar 150 tends to perform toughly with the TVS Apache RTR 160, Hero Xtreme Sports, Yamaha SZ-RR V2.0 and the Honda Unicorn.
