Honor 6X unveiled in China

Honor 6x is the successor of Honor 5X which was launched on October last year. This phone provides a combination of specs that works at price that people appreciate the most. Just like its previous generation Honor 6X follows similar design language but now with metal body. Honor is the sub-brand of Huawei, in case if you don’t know.

Talking about the device itself, it has a 5.5-inch FullHD display with the Honor brand tag on the bottom of the screen. Powering the phone is Huawei’s backyard made Octa-Core Kirin 655 processor, 4X clocked at 2.1Ghz,  4X clocked at 1.7Ghz and the GPU is handled by Mali T830-MP2. The internal storage has three variants: 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB which further can be expanded up to another 128GB via a Hybrid Micro SD card slot. The phone runs EMUI v4.1 which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The battery has a rating of 3,340mAh with the support of fast charge. The camera department has a 12MP + 2MP rear camera which results on sharper and more crisp images. It has a 8MP front-facing selfie shooter.

The phone is priced at CNY 999 (~$148) for the 3GB + 32GB variant and the 4GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB variant comes in CNY 1299 (~$193) and CNY 1599 (~$237) respectively. The pre-order for the device started from today in China. There is no word for the availability outside china but definitely we can see this on the markets where 5X is available.
