This years seems to bet the year for the change in Instagram, firstly they changed their Logo,UI, then added stories and now they are testing Live feature. Instagram had recently added the Snapchat like stories feature on their app and this time on a beta version of Instagram some people found out the Live video option embedded on the Instagram stories with a big LIVE banner. Users using the beta version also reported that the user interface for going live has a large Red button which says “GO Insta!”.
Instagram might have been testing this feature because a lot of Facebook users are using this feature to go live and they don’t want to be back at least on the matters of features. Facebook and Instagram has different user base and they are targeted to different user. When looking at the screenshots we can say that the feature might soon hit the devices and we can browse a series of Live videos to see what is being broadcasting at the moment.
