Xiaomi one of the most popular smartphone brands From China has come up with an all-new Mi 5X. In an event held in Beijing, China the smartphone was unveiled with the all-new MIUI 9 on top of Andriod 7.0 Nougat.
The device has a 5.5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with a 1080 x 1920 pixel display. The device is powered by 2.0 GHz octa-core Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625. It comes with Adreno 506 GPU and uses the most advanced 14nm FinFET technology which is more power-efficient. It operates on MIUI 9 on top of Andriod 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Talking about the camera dual 12 MP, Autofocus dual led flash rear camera certainly seems to be one of the top-notch features to be added. The secondary camera is of 5MP.
The device gets its juice from a 3080mAH battery. The battery size really seems low compared with other Xiaomi Midrange phones. The device comes up with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can further be expanded up to 128GB via SD card in Hybrid SIM slot. Xiaomi boasts of the Mi 5X’s discreet antenna design and a smooth anti-fingerprint coating. The phone weighs around 165 grams. Sensors on the phone include the Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, and Ambient light sensor.

Xiaomi Mi 5X 4GB/64GB variant is priced at CNY 1,499 (around $220/€190) in Gold, Black, and Rose Gold colors. The Phone hasn’t arrived in Nepal yet and I don’t expect it to arrive sooner. The dual camera at this range is certainly my pick for this phone. With all the given features I expect the price to be about 30K in Nepal which will be perfect pricing for this device. This phone is certainly gonna rock at this range. The only thing that had let me down is 3080mAH battery which I didn’t expect from Xiaomi at all. Overall the phone is a decent upgrade from Xiaomi at this price range.
