MV1 from Obi Worldphone now available

As we reported earlier, the new phone from Obi Worldphone is out in Nepali Market. Users can buy Obi MV1 starting today from almost all the online and offline retailers all over Nepal. This device has similar build and design language as previous two models.

As we had said earlier, Starck Tech didn’t organised any launch events and silently launched the phone. Obi MV1 has a 5-inch 720p screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Processing task is performed by Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 212 which is a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.3GHz each, Graphics is handled by Adreno 304. RAM is rated to be 2GB and internal storage is 16GB which can be upgraded to 64GB via a MicroSD card slot. The battery is marked at 2500MAh battery.

While the design language might look similar and familiar to the previous phones things are totally different inside because it runs on Cyanogen OS based on Android Lollipop 5.1. The camera department has a 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, the front houses a 2MP Fixed Focus camera. It has all the regular features of a smartphone like Dual sims, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi etc. All of the above this phone comes 4G ready, which means you can use 4G on your phone without any other requirements.
