Realme 6s unveiled with the MediaTek Helio G90T and 90Hz display

As the company’s newest smartphone, Chinese smartphone maker Realme has launched a new budget-friendly smartphone called Realme 6s in Europe. It is essentially a cheaper Realme 6 edition, which released in April. Just like the Realme 6i, the Realme 6s is a budget-friendly phone fuelled by the Helio G90 T processor from MediaTek, with some of the premium features you will not find throughout this price range. The phone loads in a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

Realme 6s specifications:

The handset has an LCD screen of 6.5-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels), with a refresh rate of 90Hz and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The display holds a selfie camera hole-punch cutout that is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The octa-core chipset powers the Realme 6s, the Helio G90 T, together with the storage of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, which can is expandable as required with MicroSD card.

The Realme 6s comes with a 48MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle lens with f/2.3 aperture, a 2MP camera, and a 2MP macro camera in a quad-camera setup on the rear. Although selfie is the most important on the front, the only selfie camera is 16 MP with (f/2.0) aperture. In 30 fps, the rear camera can capture 4k videos, while the front camera only captures FHD video at 30fps.

The realm 6s runs on a Realme UI with Android 10 and packs a 4300mAh battery, which supports 30w of fast charging. Therefore, the company claims it takes just 60 minutes for the phone to Complete charge. As usual, 6s features connectivity options such as dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/c, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 3-Card Slot – 2 SIM Slot + 1 MicroSD Slot and a Type-C port. The phone comes with different sensors like Magnetic induction sensor, Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Gyro-meter, Acceleration sensor.

Pricing and Availability

The Realme 6s is available in a single edition, is priced at €199 (4 GB + 64 GB), i.e. roughly valued as Rs. 27,000 in Nepal. If you want to purchase the phone, you can also pre-order the phone from the official website of Realme.

Though it is launched and is already on sale in other countries, we still have to wait until further notice for the availability of Realme 6s in Nepal. We expect it to be launch soon.
