Earlier this year Samsung launched Galaxy A7 (2016) and the leak suggests that the tech giant Samsung is already cooking the next updated version of Galaxy A7(2017). A leak on GFXBench has reviled the specifications of Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 edition.
The specs show a device with model no. SM-A720x. The leaked device has a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, the same as the 2016 Galaxy A7. It is powered by an Octa-Core Cortex A53 ARMv8 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz, coupled with 3GB of RAM, and internal storage of 32GB. If it’s anything like the current variant, the 2017 A7 will also have a MicroSD card slot in case you want to boost your storage.
The major changes come under the camera department, both the rear and front will feature a 16MP sensor which means sharp and highly detailed selfies. The new 2017 edition Samsung Galaxy A7 is likely to be a selfie-focused smartphone. It’s sad that the 2017 variant of the phone is also running on Marshmallow when the latest Nougat is already out. At least Samsung should have provided Nougat and we know how much times does Samsung takes to provide OTA update.
We don’t have any other information about Pricing and the availability of the 2017 Galaxy A7, but we’ll keep you updated as we get closer to its rumoured December announcement.
