Vivo is definitely one of the most heard brands in the market with its wild and fierce marketing campaign and strategies. Vivo had recently launched its flagship device Vivo V9, which caught a lot of eyes with its stunning design and some top-notch specs. Vivo has also launched its another midrange phone Y71 in the Nepali market with the price tag of Nrs: 17,890/-. Is it worth the money, let’s find out?

The phone has IPS LCD 6 inch bezel-less (720 x 1440 pixels)HD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by 1.8 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor and Adreno 506 GPU. The device comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard internal storage which can be further expanded by dedicated MicroSD card slot. The device Equipped with Non-removable Li-Ion 3360 mAh battery which seems to be decent with this price range.

Talking about the camera, Rear side of the device is equipped with 13MP, with LED Flash while the front-facing camera is 5MP. The camera looks reasonably good for this price range. It operates on Android 8.1 (Oreo) out of the box. It doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor. It is as of now available in Black and Gold color options.

Priced at 17,890, VIVO Y71 seems a decent low-range phone with good specs. It’s designed and 18:9 aspect ratio is definitely a bonus. But looking at other specs this phone looks very average on paper. Comparing it to other phones in this price range it seems to be lacking something.
