Facebook testing videos that autoplay with sound turned on.

Facebook recently has been getting its name also as a video hub. This happened when Facebook launched its Live video feature and it became viral. Mashable said Facebook is testing a change in its mobile app on which video is auto-played with the sound turned on. Users can also tap on the small button on the corner of the video to turn sound off, similar as we have seen on Instagram, Twitter, and Vine’s video.

Sound can be turned off by tapping on the Small button on the video.

“We’re running a small test in News Feed where people can choose whether they want to watch videos with sound on from the start,” a Facebook spokesperson confirmed to Mashable Australia. “For people in this test who do not want the sound to play, they can switch it off in Settings or directly on the video itself.”

The idea of autoplay of video with the sound turned on seems to be irritating, people have already reacted negatively from tested countries.
