The device comes up with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB using second sim slot. There’s one more major feature of the device worth pointing out here, and that’s the device running on stock android, not Xiaomi’s own MIUI layer, and is a part of the Andriod one program. The Xiaomi Mi A1 runs Android 7.1.2 and is likely to get Andriod Oreo update soon out of the box. Sensors on the phone include the Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass.
