One Plus has always managed to become a centre of attraction since its One Plus One day. They have always managed to provide exceptional user experience and specification of the phone on less than half of the price of their competitors.
One Plus has two operating systems that their phone runs i.e Hydrogen OS and Oxygen OS. Hydrogen OS is included in the Chinese variant of the phones and Oxygen OS comes on all the other countries. It’s a very time consuming and difficult for the developers to maintain both the OS and to provide regular security and phone updates. So, One Plus will be maintaining one OS by combining all the good things on both the OS.
“The main benefit of combining our team resources is to speed up software updates. We know we have some room to continue improving there, and this is an important step in the right direction.”
As both the OS will be merged and developed and all the source code will have to be Re-written, Bugs are common on the beta to build. So, the company has told users to download and use the OS and to report the Bugs. Recently One Plus was receiving complaints about update frequency and by this move, we can say that One Plus is taking updates seriously. They are listening to the community and trying to make things work according to the community.
